This app was written from scratch for Mothercare Ireland, in conjunction with Superpixel Ltd, a brilliant digital agency based in Galway and London.
The main goal here was to drive customer loyalty. We did this by allowing loyalty points to be gained and used both within the app and in Mothercare stores. A user’s points could be very easily seen on the main dashboard, and each user is given a unique barcode to be used in-store.
The dashboard itself is entirely dynamic, allowing promotions and discounts to be quickly introduced without needing to submit an app update to Apple.
We also used entirely custom components for the user interface, allowing us to make the app unique for Mothercare, and ensure that it runs as fast as possible. The result is that the user can browse quickly through search results or product details, without dropping a single frame.
